Do you remember what BOMDAS means?
Brackets Order Multiplication Division Addition and Subtraction
If there are brackets in a sum do whatever is inside Brackets First.
Then do the rest in the following order- Multiplication, Division, Addition and Subtraction.
Draw brackets here around the first part of the sum that you are completing and then work out these sums-
