All this week the class have been learning about Australia! We worked together as a team to create a display for the hallway all about Australia. Everyone had a different role to play. Team work makes the dream work 😊

World Book Day in Ms. O’Dwyer’s 1st class
We had great fun dressing up as some of our favourite characters for World Book Day.
Even the 1st class teachers joined in!
We had some witches and wizards!!
And we had some sports stars 🤩
We also had a great time practising our reading with Mrs. Tobin’s 6th class. They were very kind and helpful to us.

Scór na bPàistí Finals
Massive congratulations to all the students from St. Joseph’s who represented their school in the Scór na bPàistí Finals in Clonroche last night. The students gave it their all on the stage and made their teachers, families, their school and themselves very proud! Well done to all involved.

Chinese New Year
Today in Ms. O’Dwyer’s class we were learning about the Chinese New Year which will be celebrated this Saturday. This year will be the year of the Dragon. To celebrate this we made our own paper dragons.
