What a fantastic day we had in Enniscorthy on Wednesday 17th May at the Primary School’s Athletics competition.
We had 34 athletes taking part and they all ran superbly. We had 16 semi-finalists and 7 finalists.
Annabelle Coade won gold in the U9 80m race.
Brooklyn Fleming won silver in the U14 100m race.
Chloe Amelia, Robyn O’Toole, Jessica O’Brien and Ruby Kennedy won silver in the girls U12 relay.
We are very proud of all our athletes who took part and it was a thoroughly enjoyable day.
Buddy Reading, JI & 6th
Mrs. Tobin’s 6th and Mrs. Fleming’s Junior Infants have joined up to do Buddy Reading together for the last school term.
JI were delighted to read their reader’s to their new buddy and for their 6th class partner(s) to read a library book of their choice to them.
Scoil Damhsa!
Mrs. Fleming’s Junior Infants and Mrs. Tobin’s 6th Class have been getting their dancing shoes on for the past few weeks. Today they joined up to dance the Walls of Limerick together and had great fun!

World Book Day Celebrations 2023
World Book Day was a huge success here in St.Joseph’s Primary School. To celebrate World Book Day each child was given a World Book Day token to encourage reading . Every child could dress up as a favourite character from their favourite book and there was some fantastic costumes parading the school for the day . As a whole school we celebrated this day through a special announcement of DEAR time over the intercom . Classes were busy designing their own book covers as well as drawing their favourite characters . It was a positive experience for all and great effort was invested by parents, teachers and students . We all thoroughly enjoyed the day . Happy Reading !
