Scór na bPáistí 2025
Children in 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th Class have been working hard to prepare for Scór na bPáistí 2025. We were very proud to have 1 Figure Dancing Group, 2 Solo Singers, 2 Ballad Groups as well as 2 Instrumental Groups take part in the Gorey District Rounds in Bunscoil Loreto on 30/01/2025. All competitors were excellent and did our school proud. We were very excited to have Isabella go through in Solo Singing as well as a Ballad Group make it to the semi-final.
On Thursday, February 7th, we went back to Bunscoil Loreto to take part in the semi-finals. Both Isabella and the Ballad Group did excellently. The competition was very difficult but we were grateful that our Ballad Group made it to the County Final in the National Opera House on 13/02/2025.
Good luck to Isabella, Lyla, Roisín, Teagan and Patrick. We are so proud of you all!
Thanks to Ms Culliton, Ms Waters and Mr O’ Brien for preparing the children.
Creagh College TY Future Leaders Blitz
Creagh College TY Future Leaders Blitz
On September 13th, some of Rackard League football girls participated in an excellent blitz organised by Creagh College, along with many schools in the area. The girls put on a gallant display with 3 wins, 1 draw and 1 loss in their group games. With such success, the girls went through to the shield semi final where they faced a strong team from Gaelscoil Moshíológ. The girls got the better of them and came out with a win to take on a strong Kilanerin side.
The girls played their hearts out and were victorious! We are so proud of the girls after such a wonderful display. Mollie won player of the tournament. Maith sibh, cailiní!
