December was a busy month of Christmas themed activities. We did Christmas themed art, played games, cut and stick activities. Our role Play area was transformed into Santa’s workshop.

We worked hard on our Christmas door and made a gingerbread house. We made everything on it and teacher stuck up the brown background. Our hard work paid off and we won in the junior category.

We went on a Christmas scavenger hunt around around the school looking for Christmas themed pictures.

We did the skittles experiment and made predictions of what we thought would happen when we added the water to the skittles.

We were very excited when Santa came to visit our class.

We were the happiest Christmas trees. We painted and decorated our own Christmas trees to wear for the Christmas concert.

This month Our Theme was Halloween. Here are some of the things we got up to.

We drew and decorated pumpkins.

We played instruments along with and learned the song five batty bats.

We made exploding potions.

We did lots of Halloween themed art.

We dressed up For Halloween.

Our playtime was Halloween themed too.
