Gorey Shopping Centre ❄
St. Joseph’s were delighted to contribute to the Christmas decoration of Gorey Shopping Centre again this year. Every child made a snowflake or snowman and 6th class boys and girls helped Mrs. Armstrong to put it all together.
Christmas Shoebox Appeal 2023
A huge thank you to everyone who donated a shoebox to the Team Hope Christmas Shoebox Appeal 2023. This year, the pupils and staff of St. Joseph’s PS donated 241 shoeboxes! In 2022, we donated 193 shoeboxes. This is an incredible amount! Each shoebox donated will make a less fortunate child very happy this Christmas! The shoeboxes were collected on Tuesday and thank you to all the pupils and staff who helped load up the Team Hope van, especially Ms. O’Dwyer’s class and Ms. Doyle’s class. It was like the elves loading up Santa’s sleigh with goodies! Once again, thank you very much for all the shoeboxes! 🙂
Halloween games
Well done to our Active Committee who led Halloween active games, treat or trick, witch tag and ghost buster bowling in the hall today for classes to get them active.
Active Halloween
Well done to the boys and girls who got active on our whole school spooky walk today. The older classes buddied up with the younger classes to complete a Halloween scavenger hunt around the school grounds.
