Mr O’Brien 6th Class April 20th – May 1st

Monday 20th April – Friday 1st May

Hello again 6th Class!
Firstly, I hope you are all keeping safe and well. I’m sure we all thought and hoped we’d be back to school by now but unfortunately that isn’t the case. I hope you have all been helping out at home and keeping busy. The following exercises are for the next two weeks and just like before, do what you can. Try and do some each day from Monday – Friday. Don’t worry if you get stuck on something, move on to the next piece and try your best on that. Set aside time each day to focus solely on your schoolwork and really concentrate on doing the best you can. Remember that this is only a guide and I’m not expecting you to complete it all, but just to try your best!

Again, all written work can be done in your copy or on sheets that you may have at home. Make sure your page is ruled, has a date and your written work is presented neatly! Check back over all written work when you are finished. Try and keep all your work together! 😊

Try some different things to keep yourself busy at home but that will also help you learn new skills such as baking, helping in the garden etc.

Once again the books that are marked with ** can be accessed on the CJ Fallon web page. Visit http://my.cjfallon.ie and click ‘Student Resources’, then filter to the title of the book you require, making sure ‘Online Books’ is selected in the ‘Resources’ section.

I have attached an email address for you to be able to contact me. Please get in touch if you have:
– Any questions you might have regarding any of the exercises.
– Any work that you previously have completed at home and would like me to correct.
– Any work you want me to correct for the next two weeks; either type your answers on Microsoft Word & attach to the email or take a picture of your work & attach it.
– If you are struggling to find the books on the CJ Fallon webpage, email me to let me know and I can send you screenshots of the pages required.
– Anyone who would like extra work in English, Gaeilge or Maths; I have plenty of extra activities ready if you wish such as cloze passages, Noggle activities, brainteasers etc. Or if you would like art ideas, games to play at home etc.  please feel free to email me.
