Mrs. Murphy’s Work

  1. Continue Snip, one per fortnight and do a weekly test.
  2. Toe by Toe daily until the children get three consecutive dots.
  3. Print off Dolch List one and do five words a night until they know all five! Ms Murphy normally writes then on flash cards and when they get it right she puts a dot on the back! If they get three dots she puts them into an envelop to go over again at a later date. If you log onto https://www.enchantedlearning.com/dolch/worksheets.shtml
  4. You can access dolch lists and activites based on them. Dolch High Frequency words represent 220 words that make up between 50 and 75% of all print in English and therefore is so important.
  5. Don’t hesitate to contact Mrs. Murphy on orla.murphy@stjosephsgorey.ie

Keep up your great work!

M. Conway 🙂
