We made our First Confession (Sacrament of Reconciliation) today in School. We were visited by Fr. Flynn, Fr. Banville and Fr. Kehoe who listened to the children talk about times we didn’t live as we should.
Despite their nerves, the children were excellent and really enjoyed their lesson with the NET Ministry team who were there to support the classes too.
We’ve been having great fun over Maths Week. We read all the funny maths jokes all over the school and are making our own board games to play during the week before embarking on our maths trail and lots more for the rest of the week!
Miss Kinsella’s 2nd Class were delighted to make their First Confession today! We all spoke to Fr. O’ Neill and completed the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Afterwards, we said our prayers of the Our Father and the Act of Sorrow.
We are sure to be on our best behaviour in the run up to receiving the Sacrament of First Holy Communion!
