Gaelic Football in 6th Class
6th Class really enjoyed working with Games Promotional Officer Paddy Rossiter during September & October. Lots of new Gaelic Football skills were learned and plenty of fun was also had!
Beehive Huts
Attempting to create miniature Beehive Huts using the technique of corbelling!
STEM Build a Tower Challenge
Great fun in 6th Class as part of Science Week when we tried to construct the highest tower that could hold a marshmallow; using 20 pieces of spaghetti, sellotape and string!
Each group worked really well to plan out their design on paper first before constructing. Lots of excellent efforts but the overall winners were: Caoimhe, Kate, Nathan & Dara who created a tower 64cm tall! Well done everyone 😁
🎄Spreading Christmas Cheer 🎄
All the children of St. Joseph’s designed a stocking, bauble, present or Christmas jumper to display in Gorey Shopping Centre. Be sure to take a look!
A big thank you to the SET team and Alan for organising such a beautiful display.
